I never have enough space despite having a relatively large home and office. A lot of the reason why is that a lot of space goes unused or is unused effectively. You can also place cabinets in the corners for storing just about anything. These shelves and cabinets can even be stacked to increase space or placed high, above an easy chair or other piece of furniture for example. Another idea is to use a wall mount to use the space for a computer monitor or flat screen TV.
The ideas are almost limitless, and you can get more utility and add nice decorative touches by using corners effectively.
